ABOUT US
At Trickster we believe in the nourishing power of good food, good community, and that everybody could use a little more color and whimsy in their lives.
The idea that would eventually become Trickster began many years ago in the coffee shops and restaurants that shaped us, that taught us technique, camaraderie, ingenuity, and pride in our craft. Between them, founders Jenn and Shannon have nearly three decades of experience in the industry and find great joy and meaning in feeding others.
Trickster offers a daily selection of fresh-baked croissants, muffins, cookies, cakes, and other treats, as well as house-made vegetarian breakfast and lunch items, and a full coffee and espresso bar. We aim to offer the same sorts of food and drink that we enjoy: fresh, wholesome, flavor-forward, and sometimes surprising.
In addition to delicious food and drink, we believe that small businesses have a responsibility to support and sustain their communities. We partner with local vendors and artists to help keep money in the local economy, compost our waste whenever possible, and donate our leftover pastries to our neighbors at the FMC Food Pantry as a way to give back.
Our goal is to provide a warm, welcoming space without discrimination. We provide a large community table to foster conversation and to host community events, space for professionals to work, and small groups to meet and enjoy a cup of coffee. Additionally, as parents ourselves, we aim to make even our youngest guests feel welcome, by providing a cozy corner with books and toys.
We hope you stop in and let us make your day a little brighter.

Founders and Chefs
The Trickster is keeper of the threshold, existing in the liminal space between destruction and creation, chaos and order. They are rule-breakers, boundary-pushers, cunning shapeshifters, and heroes-in-disguise. Without the Trickster, the world remains stagnant, colorless, and much less fun.
